I am pleased to announce the sale display of my favorite collection of covers - the Marvel 25th Anniversary cover collection. The backstory: As many of you know that follow me on IG, I started to collect the boarder covers I did not have 2 years ago. Last year, I completed the run of acquiring every title published for the set (39). However, as many collectors do I decided to add both the Newsstand and direct edition to my collection. Double the fun you might say! (For those that might not be aware the newsstand copy has a bar code in the lower left corner and it was sold at ...newsstands, and drug stores etc. The direct edition, with a picture in lower left corner instead of a barcode, was sent to comic stores and to people who had monthly subscriptions.) Collecting these has proved elusive as the more low print run Star comic newsstands are difficult to find. Although, I am missing a direct edition of Heathcliff 12 as for some reason the book I found at a comic con was the newsstand. In the course of collecting these books, I would usually buy them whenever I saw any at a comic show, even if it was a duplicate of one I already had. Thus I have multiple copies of things like Avengers and Thor. However, now as I attempt to downsize and make room for the books I still need I decided I, in fact, don't need 5 copies of Avengers issue 273, and should sell the duplicates to acquire the ones I still need. Thus, I am announcing the re-design of my website to preemiently feature this collection and ease of search for fellow boarder cover collectors. I also put categories of Fantastic Four, Avengers and Ironman up there as those are the majority of books I have for sale.
