Complete sets?

Does anybody purchase complete sets anymore, because I know I have. I am wondering about it as I have some complete extra sets of the Marvel 25th Anniversay boarder cover set (30 books) as well as Marvel Superhero Secret Wars set (12 books). The only problem is they are not cheap. Which is to say I spent a certain amount on them as single issues and now that they are all together, I need to sell them at a certain amount to recoup costs. The price points I was thinking was $700 for the boarder cover set which includes the rare star comic issues and $400 for the secret wars set. I would like to post them if there is interest, however, I am wondering if that is worth the effort as opposed to taking them to a comic show and selling them there. I acutally would be very interested in your thoughts.
